He won for the 93rd time in his career at Bowman Gray Stadium

Drivers don’t like to talk much about the points standings. But they look at the standings each week because its good to know where they stand.

Three weeks into the 76th season of Bowman Gray Stadium racing and there’s nothing that’s been decided. All four divisions are close, and that will likely not change for the rest of the season.

Jordan Fleming, who sits third in the Modified, said on Saturday he’s excited about his fast start. He’s driving a fulltime in the Modifieds for the first time in his career.

Jordan’s father, Chris, has taught his son well about not looking at the points’ race too closely.

“My brother (Luke) and I just want to come here and win races,” Jordan said about his race team. “I just think that if you win enough races or come close to winning the points will take care of themselves.”

Burt Myers leads the points with 150 with defending champion Brandon Ward second with 134 and Jordan Fleming third with 122. Tim Brown, who had to leave the race midway through on Saturday night after getting caught up with John Holloman, is fourth with 114 points.

In the Sportsman, Michael Adams leads the way with 137 points and Zack Ore is second with 135. Defending champion Chase Robertson is third with 131 points.

Christian Joyce has the biggest lead of anybody in the four divisions as he leads the Street Stock Division with 144 points. Kevin Gilbert, Brad Lewis and Wes Glascoe are all tied for second with 116 points.

Chuck Wall leads A.J. Sanders in the Stadium Stock Division. Wall has 148 points and Sanders, the two-time defending champion in that division, has 144 points. Connor Keaton is third with 126 points and Grayson Keaton has 124 points.
