Superior Court III
The following violations were recently admitted and adjudged in Kosciusko Superior Court II with Judge Joe V. Sutton presiding. Unless otherwise indicated, the conviction is for a Class D felony. The month the incident occurred is included to eliminate confusion.

Nonsupport Of A Child - Fined $1 in September and sentenced to three years in jail, of which two were suspended for probation conditional upon payment of no less than $4,000 per year toward arrearage and remaining current on child support payments was Steven A. Kinney, 37, Williamsburg, Ky.
Fined $1 in September and sentenced to three years in jail, which was suspended for probation conditional upon payment of $3,510 per year toward arrearage for three years and remaining current on child support payments was Lee Howe, 28, Akron.
Fined $1 in July; sentenced to one year in jail, to be suspended conditional upon payment of $809 in arrearage within one year; and ordered to remain current on child support payments was John A. Glant, 41, Warsaw.
Fined $1 in June and sentenced to three years in jail, of which two years were suspended for probation conditional upon payment of $2,000 per year toward arrearage for three years and remaining current on child support payments was Shannon Yoder, 26, Goshen.
Fined $1 in May and sentenced to three years in jail, of which two were suspended for probation conditional upon payment of $2,000 per year toward arrearage and remaining current on child support payments was John Sutherlin, 30, New Haven. Sutherlin also received an identical sentence for another nonsupport case, with the jail term ordered served consecutively.
Fined $1 in April; sentenced to three years in prison, to be suspended conditional upon payment of $2,000 per year for two years toward arrearage; and ordered to remain current on child support payments was Donald S. Hiner Jr., 32, Las Vegas, Nev.
Nonsupport Of A Child (Class C Felony) - Fined $1 in October and sentenced to eight years in jail, of which all but two years were suspended conditional upon payment of $64 per week child support, plus an extra $3,000 per year to start after release from incarceration was Jack L. Britt, 47, Warsaw.
Driving While Intoxicated - Fined $200 in November; sentenced to two years in prison, of which all but 90 days were suspended for probation conditional upon completion of an alcohol treatment program and attendance at one Drunk Driving Impact Panel meeting; ordered to pay a $200 state alcohol countermeasure fee and a $50 initial and $15 monthly probation user's fee; and driving privileges suspended one year was Sheryl L. Hendrickson, 43, Warsaw.
Fined $200 in November; sentenced to two years in jail, of which all but 90 days were suspended for probation, conditional upon completion of an alcohol treatment program; ordered to pay a $200 state alcohol countermeasure fee; and driving privileges suspended one year was Larry D. Hursell, 41, Pierceton.
Fined $200 in August, sentenced to 1-1/2 years in jail, ordered to pay a $200 state alcohol countermeasure fee and driving privileges suspended two years was Tim L. Fish, 37, Tippecanoe.

Hackworth also was convicted of driving while adjudged a habitual traffic offender, a Class C felony, and sentenced to six years in prison, to be served concurrently with the above term.
Fined $200 in July; sentenced to 1-1/2 years in prison, of which all but 60 days were suspended for probation conditional upon completion of an alcohol treatment program; ordered to pay a $200 state alcohol countermeasure fee and a $50 initial and $15 monthly probation user's fee; and driving privileges suspended one year was Susan Strasser, 46, Oakland, Ill.
Fined $300 in July; sentenced to three years in prison, of which two years were suspended conditional upon completion of an alcohol treatment program; ordered to pay a $200 state alcohol countermeasure fee; and driving privileges suspended one year was Charles R. Holland, 37, Cheyenne, Wyo. Holland also was convicted of possession of marijuana, a Class A misdemeanor, and sentenced to one year in jail, to be served concurrently with the above term, and ordered to pay a $200 state drug countermeasure fee. His driving privileges are suspended 180 days.

Fined $200 in December 1999; sentenced to 1-1/2 years in jail, of which six months were suspended for probation, conditional upon completion of an alcohol treatment program; ordered to pay a $200 state alcohol countermeasure fee; and driving privileges suspended one year was Michael W. Joseph, 43, Columbia City.
Fined $200 in May 1999; sentenced to two years in prison; ordered to pay a $200 state alcohol countermeasure fee; and driving privileges suspended two years was David L. Francis, Pierceton. Francis also was convicted of driving while adjudged a habitual traffic violator and ordered to serve two years in prison consecutive to the above term and to pay a $1 fine for a Class B misdemeanor conviction of false informing.
Driving While Adjudged A Habitual Traffic Offender - Fined $200 in July; sentenced to one year in jail, of which all but 60 days were suspended for probation; and driving privileges suspended one year was Joseph N. Oswald, 22, Syracuse.
Driving While Adjudged A Habitual Traffic Offender (a Class C felony) - Sentenced to six years in prison and driving privileges suspended for life was Charles F. Boring Jr., Warsaw.
